Flickr Macro Monday ~ Stationery

New week for macros coming up!  I love macro photography.  It's just me, my camera, creating, being quiet and peaceful.
Emoji faces on some binder clips.

The FMM theme is "stationery" and description as follows:
"Stationery refers to commercially manufactured writing materials such as paper, envelopes, writing implements, other office supplies and includes electronic office equipment such as computers, printers and calculators.

You are not limited to just these few stationery items I have mentioned. The choices you have for this theme are extensive and I think it's a fun and easy theme for everyone to enjoy and show their creativity."

Holy moly, what a diverse selection of subjects.  I'm of the generation that thinks of formal writing papers or even greeting cards when stationery is mentioned … handwritten, mostly in cursive, and sending our letters by snail mail.  Not office supplies and equipment.

I found a variety of office supplies to connect paper together.
I'm not always able to see what an idea might look like until I actually snap it then view.  Sometimes that process will help me realize I have a better subject to capture that I had not thought of as yet.  I guess that's how I work through these themes.  I would like to see how others put their submittals together.  I'm sure some of these shots of office supplies would be quite repetitive of what will be submitted.
These are family letters  on simple stationery from the '40s, during WWII.
I'm leaning towards one of these to submit on Monday.
Or the splash of color in this next shot, seems like a possible candidate.  I  would love to hear your input, which is always appreciated!
Above, blank stationery cards.  I like the color splash.

It's amazing how much junk I found in my desk drawers.  Minimalizing must not be in the cards for me... until it is!

PS.  Last Monday (wire) I submitted the "bouquet of wires".
Enjoy your weekend!

  1. All the shots have creative value to them. I guess sometimes it's nice to have a focius on a certain subject. It forces a person to think outside the box.Now I must see what is with view for me.
