The Beginning of a New Drawing

 My preliminary sketch is down.  I've learned, taking photos as my drawing progress's helps me see if something is off.  This is a photo I love of my nephew and his son which was taken some time ago as the son is now a teenager.  

I'm having trouble with the son's windblown hair.

Blond hair is a struggle for me so I'm studying some YouTube videos.

That should help.

08/13/2021 Update:  Here is the finally drawing completed.

I jumped on the artistic license bandwagon and

changed a few things for my skill level.
