Monday Murals ~ A Random Sloth

Last February, we had a beautiful day to explore the murals in downtown Tulsa.  We approached an alley with murals along both sides as we walked down the street hunting murals.  That's where I found this random sloth mural touting "take life slow".  Aren't all of us doing that these days of "safer at home"?

This alley I learned has the name of "Art Alley" and the above mural was created by Chris Presley of OKCmurals.com.  He's an amazing talent.  This sloth mural is a smaller copy of an Oklahoma City mural.  One of my grandsons has been dubbed "sloth" (he is slow to move when asked to do something otherwise his energy is definitely his superpower) so this mural has special meaning to me as it has touched my heart.
I'm sharing this beauty with Monday Murals, here.
Enjoy your day!

  1. That is a very sinister looking sloth. The ones I've seen in Central and South America actually look like teddy bears with a sort of goofy expression on their faces and much shorter claws.

    Good mural!

  2. What a cute mural Millie. I had to laugh at the comparison with your energetic but lazy grandson. Kids are like that :)
