Macro Mondays - Triangle

Thank you to Sandra at the MadSnapper for
suggesting the "dodge" command in PhotoShop.
I'm slowly putting it to use!

The next Macro Monday theme is triangle, which is a "polygon with
three edges and three vertexes, in other words
‘a closed plane figure having three sides and three angles’.

This simple shape is really everywhere around you,

if you search for them, you will find them!"

I didn't look around but remembered these crystal candle holders my late aunt sent us as a wedding gift 27 years ago this year. So formal, I don't get to use them much.... maybe I should dress things up for Valentines Day and actually use our dining room?!  Can you visualize... tearing into a crab boil dinner (a tradition for us) with crystal and a white tablecloth? What a mess! But a fun idea.  Anyway, I'm sure I'll be driving my husband crazy pointing at all the triangles I notice around us this week.
These last two photos are the compositions I came up with for Macro Monday Jan. 13's theme of triangle.  Which do you think is the most "triangley"?  ...yes that's a word!

Happy Click'n!

  1. a couple of years back, there was a challenge from someone to find triangles. I drove bob crazy and sometimes my own self crazy because once I started seeing triangles I could not stop. they really are everywhere as are squares and circles... I love the first photo best but I think the last is the most triangly..
