Tornado Alley 4/28/20
Yesterday evening our Spring Storm Season began with gusto. Afterwards, the sky was unusual with bubbly clouds and sunset colors.
I have never seen anything like these clouds. They are Mammatus clouds and are most often associated with anvil clouds and also severe thunderstorms. We had funnels sighted but no touchdowns, thank goodness. I'm sharing these with Skywatch Friday (here).
Enjoy your day!
Wow! Those are gorgeous! They are new to me, as well.
ReplyDeleteI have been privileged to see clouds like this only twice before in my life, but what a thrill that was. You captured them beautifully .
ReplyDeleteI have seen clouds like that only once...an did not have a camera!
