Flickr Macro Mondays ~ Closed








I'm trying to think outside of the box for this Macro Monday theme, "closed".   I love stupid puns!

I have come up with a few ideas earlier in the week but managed to wait till the last minute to get my camera out and play with my ideas.   One of my goals is to submit something I might want to frame and hang on my own wall and not just photograph a closed sign or something.  I've been having sinus headaches so it was very tempting to either call it quits or search for that closed sign after all! (lol)





This is a Flickr's Macro Monday explanation of what they are looking for:
"... your task for this week will be to find a macro subject that represents “Closed”.
Closed has more than one definition and has synonyms including, but not limited to: locked, sealed, barred, padlocked, not open, out of business, out of order, shut down.." 

I submitted this shot.  Odd enough all these were
shot at 1/60 sec, f5, ISO 200 in our sun room.

    you sure found a lot of closed illurstrations. I think my favorite is the very first one. I have a literal mindset, and when someone gives me a clue, I think literally.. like the closed umbrellas.. or a sign. good job.

      Aww, thank you. The first one, I was trying to correct my lighting in Elements and got kind of carried away but was happy with the out come. Maybe because the box and latch now look like chocolate. A whole box made of chocolate! Me and my sweet tooth would love that...
