Painted ~ Take Two

As quickly as plans are made, they can change.  Long story short, I got sick, nothing serious, but enough to prevent me from climbing in the car with my husband for a four hour drive to visit family for the weekend.  After two days in bed, there it was, a painting.  Always the first thing I see when I rise in the morning.   (See my last post - Take One or Flickr Macro Mondays ~ Painted.)

This is a Mother's Day gift with the painted hands and feet of two of my grandkids, spelling out love.

Tomorrow's Flickr Macro Mondays theme is "painted" and then Flickr Crazy Tuesday is "five".  I covered both these themes in one quick shoot yesterday afternoon. Now, I'm deciding whether the shot above is close up enough to be considered for Macro Mondays or if I should use the yellow bird, below.  Over thinking things again!

Below is a painted metal bird, part of a wall hanging of multi colored birds on a tree limb. A reminder of Springtime during this winter season.  

Things are looking up!  I even feel like putting my feet up and drinking coffee this morning instead of being curled up under the covers.  A much better day though missing my family.
