Iris Progression Part 2

On April 24th I posted iris buds from my garden. 

During the next few days I took random shots of the progression 

of a particular iris as it reaches maturity. 

It really opened fast and I missed some sequence shots.

 Almost completely open, with some curling of the purple petals above.

Opened!  Purple is my favorite color of iris.

I wish I had been more aware of the stages and setup for these shots.

Next time, I'll do better.

I had enough flowers to take cuttings for the house.
