Flickr Macro Mondays ~ Fake

Fake... Maybe it's my love of flowers that the first thought that came to mind was "fake flowers".   As I look around the house for "fakes", I don't see many qualifiers.  Interesting.
This week's description of the theme "Fake", is as follows:  "There are a lot of fake items around us, especially during this Halloween season.   Fake flowers, fake coins, fake eyeballs, fake food and fake pumpkins to name a few."

I have a real pumpkin on the front porch. No fake coins. Or fake food.   Things are REAL around here, dang!  I just have to work with what I can find.

Luckily, I found some fake candles and silk flowers to come up with these possibilities.
After looking at my macros on my laptop, I decided to shoot a few shots of just the "fake" blueberries.  I'm a little disappointed in them and a lot frustrated.
Everything seems off about the last shot.  Focus, getting the dust off and the lighting to name a few.  I might try again before Monday so I can work these problems out.  Ugh....  All I want to do on this rainy afternoon is take a nap, read or watch an old movie.  But I got a few more things to accomplish before I can do that.  Thanks for stopping by!

PS  I submitted last week's macro photo theme, which was stationery, using the blue note card photo.  I got it in late and saw so many of the same subjects, I used.  If I had the time, I might have re shot the bright colored binders and entered that.  I went with the blue note card shot because I thought the colors were refreshing.  I hate making decisions.

Enjoy your day!

    1. Thank you Sandra! I'm not a fan of fake either. The only reason I have those candles are for the mantle when I decorate for the holidays. I'm afraid I will not blowout the candles before I leave the house or go to bed. I'm getting forgetful about things like that.
