TGIF ~ Smiles!

Loving this quote from Mark Twain, made it a no brainer when I added it to one of my macros.  I'm not sure if you can tell that this is a fresh and wilted carnation.  This was for a particular theme, which I can't remember.  When I turned 65 this year, something happened to my short term memory but maybe that's a blessing to keep me happy and more in the moment?!
I went to a new dentist this year.  One of her first questions was, do you like your smile?  Wasn't expecting that.  It made me self conscious.  I never really liked my smile.  I have what I call a gummy smile.  Too much gum for my teeny tiny teeth.  But over the years I've learned to not smile that huge gummy smile though you can still see my gums.  She said she could fix that for me.  But then I wouldn't be me.
This is another attempt at a selfie.  I've never mastered selfies.  It's so awkward! This one was with my  new Sony a6400.  You can flip the LCD screen and do selfies and vlog. Not that I vlog but I did want to take selfies for and with the family. Here I'm laughing because one of my son-in-law's, the one on your right (yes you Josh), said it looked like I was taking a photo of my chest (that wasn't the exact quote).  Awkward!
The grand kids make me smile. They make me smile, giggle, guffaw and cry with laughter.  Wishing all your wrinkles be from smiles and laughter!
I google, do you? of course you do.  One of my favorite things to google is cat humor.
This is one of my favorites maybe because it looks like my
crazy Bogey, who knows nothing about hunting.
Enjoy your day!

  1. my favorite thing to google is puns on any or every subject... I love the photo of your laughing water boy... I don't take selfies of me with my phone, if I take one I use the camera or the tablet and sit it way far away. I don't want the laughter wrinkles shown UP close or a closeup of my three chins.

  2. I am not answering about my smile...it is bad. But it is hard to be around grandchildren without laughing. There is always something. I love that quote...
