Tuesday Morning Tributes ~ Spring Flowers

We've had a pretty mild Summer.  All the rain breaks in our Oklahoma Summer heat made it a little more humid then I like though making for a great 2019 Summer.  Last Summer it was like this also, which only fueled my hopes for a beautiful Autumn.  NOT!
I really love Spring and Autumn with all the colors.  You just have to be aware of the season and watchful or you will miss it in Oklahoma.  Once my hubby retires, I hope we will travel more so I can capture the seasons of each year, like the Rockies' aspen leaves in the Fall or the mountain wild flowers my Dad and I would see on our hikes in Summer.
These flowers are some of what we grow in our own yard and look forward to when it begins to warm up around here.  I love all flowers but the daffodils have to be my favorite.  I wish they were in bloom year round!
With all our (5) grand-kids and grand-nephews, Spring flowers and Autumn leaves have a big competitor ...sports.  I love watching them play, but, if I'm not careful, I might miss these beautiful seasonal colors.
Growing up in a family more interested in nature and the arts, I've had to turn my new life with sports into art.  That being sport/action photography.  Which I love, not just because I love my family either.  It's a challenge.
Live in the moment! Is something I'm learning to do.  I think that is one of the secrets of life, you learn and take to heart once you reach a certain age.  Step away from the known stress of what is coming in the future and live in the moment seems like adding more anxiety, but actually it helps you be a bit more calm for what is ahead.  As I look back in my life, I see so much happiness I've missed, because I was so uptight and worried.  I'm a worrywart by nature.

Live, Love and Laugh more...be in the moment!

Happy Click'n!

  1. I am the queen of worrywarts, but I call mine the worlds biggest What Iffer…. I play the what if with everything I do from buying things to going places.. the flowers are beautiful and the header is spectacular.... if I had sports to shoot or anything outside the house, I would get a DSLR to replace my Rebel. since I rarely go anywhere to need a good camera, I make do with point and shoot and cell phone
